SLEEPWALKERS

A supernatural television serial aimed at three seasons of six parts. Picture a world just like our own, but behind it... below it, beyond it. As long as there has been death and dreaming, there have been shaman and spirit worlds. This between-space... this grey, hollow echo of life...  is far from empty. Not everyone who dies goes away.

The story takes place as ten convicts chosen for their archetypal representation of the tarot arrive on the Drifter, working on the rig to reduce their sentences, unwitting variables in a company’s occult experiment. These special, scarred, secretive, select individuals are given a little push into that sacred Fringe, so that those who return intact can be analysed.

Som the Hanged Man, Romanov the Chariot, Morleigh the Devil, the twin Lovers and the rest are invaded in their sleep by visions of their darkest memories... and when a strange creature appears in their dreams and creates chaos all around, survival itself becomes priority. Something grows inside the Fringe, something childlike and almost human.

Fifteen powerful people and one child of madness. Rats in a maze. Sleepers in a nightmare.
